This work is a dissertation, which will be presented to the La Salle University Center’s examining board of the Masters in Education as a partial requirement to the obtainerof my certification. This research lays on Larrosa’s theory (2004), given that his work is one of the most fundamental of modern genres and serves to my purpose to produce a dissertation of experimental writing. The idea of how the different trials with the teaching of written language, from the everyday teaching practice, may be more or less favorable to the indenture, in the sense given by Roland Barthes? narrows this research. Roland Barthes’s theory fundaments this work;the main sources are "The rumor of the tongue" (1984), "The Pleasure of the Text" (1973) and "The zero degree of writing" (1953).Furthermore, the work of Virginia Kastrup "The invention of the self and the world" (1999),-- which considers cognition as the invention of problems, not only as the solution or resolving of those -- influences my analysis of the data. Under this presupposition, the “process of writing" is investigated in two different aspects: as something formal, which is taught in schools valued in society in which we live; and, as a product from different effects on the daily practice of teaching and learning of written language. It has been found that the writing process is “a power and the result of an initiation”; however, it is also the zero degree “an adventure with generally symbolic, more linked to pleasure, enjoyment and leisure to becoming creative than, properly, to the exhaustive work development of writing”. Therefore, it seems that“writing” and “life”relate to each other in different degrees. It happens through a relationship that is established, in which the writer no longer creates the text; but instead, is created by it.
