Narrativas de memórias sobre o serviço de assistência jurídica na UFRGS

Abstract

O tema desta dissertação de mestrado está relacionado às narrativas de memórias sobre o Serviço de Assessoria Jurídica Universitária na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (SAJU-UFRGS) nos últimos 64 anos, tendo em vista o vínculo profissional que a pesquisadora estabeleceu com a instituição em estudo. A pesquisa envolveu um serviço oferecido à comunidade pela instituição de ensino público junto à Pró-Reitoria de Extensão que consolidou uma cultura de extensão na universidade. Assim, a relevância desta pesquisa está na reconstrução da memória e trajetória do SAJU. A metodologia foi pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e de campo de acordo com a história oral. A pesquisa de campo fez uso da história oral de uma amostra dos gestores envolvidos. Foi possível concluir que essa reflexão sobre a memória social do SAJU permitiu a compreensão do seu papel social, através da teoria de Bourdieu, atendendo os princípios de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão, e com base nas narrativas dos atores, que, registradas, formam a memória viva desse serviço.

The subject of this master’s thesis is related to the narratives of memories about the Serviço de Assessoria Jurídica Universitária na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (SAJU-UFRGS) in the last 64 years, considering the professional relationship that the researcher established with the institution in study. The research revolved around a service offered to the community by the public education institution next to the Pró-Reitoria de Extensão that consolidated the culture of extension activities in the university. Thus, the relevance of this research is in the reconstruction of the SAJU’s memory and trajectory. The methodology was bibliographic, documentary and field research according to oral history. Field research used the oral history of a sample of the managers involved. It was possible to conclude that this reflection about the social memory of the SAJU allowed the understanding of it’s social role through Bordieu’s theory, according to the principles of teaching, Research and Extension, and based on the narratives of the actors, that, registered, form the living memory of that service.
