dc.description.abstract The article aims to analyze the practices of teaching English language with the mediation of digital technologies in the exceptional context of remote teaching in times of COVID-19 Pandemic. Teachers, who work in Elementary School – Final Years of a private school, located in south of Brazil, participated in the study case. The questionnaire answers, available online through Google Forms tool, were categorized based on Content Analysis Technique. The main results of the study are: the flexibility to adapt to demands of remote English language teaching; the change in teachers’ conceptions and in the use of digital technologies in pedagogical practice; the importance of caring for the emotional dimension and individual monitoring; continuity in the use of digital tools in the resumption of classroom classes, and the need for continuing education for teachers. pt_BR
