A pesquisa é um estudo de Memória Social sobre os servidores TécnicoAdministrativos
em Educação da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul -
UFRGS e seus percursos formativos em cursos de pós-graduação stricto sensu,
nível mestrado, entre 2005 e 2015. Tem como objetivo geral conhecer a motivação
dos Servidores Técnico-Administrativos em Educação da UFRGS para cursar o
mestrado através da construção das suas memórias sobre seus processos
formativos durante o curso de pós-graduação stricto sensu. Trata-se de um estudo
de caráter qualitativo. É uma pesquisa aplicada, de caráter exploratório, que num
primeiro momento busca informações na Pró-Reitoria de Gestão de Pessoas –
PROGESP através da Escola de Desenvolvimento dos Servidores da UFRGS –
EDUFRGS, para definir quantos e quais servidores seriam inseridos na pesquisa.
No segundo momento utiliza como instrumento de coleta de dados a entrevista em
profundidade - realizando entrevistas individuais - com tratamento dos dados por
meio da Análise de Conteúdo. Os participantes foram divididos em dois grupos. Um
grupo representa os Técnicos com mais de 20 anos de trabalho na UFRGS e outro
grupo representa os Técnicos com menos de 10 anos de trabalho na Instituição. É
uma pesquisa sobre memória social e se ancora nos autores Maurice Halbwachs e
Jô Gondar e a partir desses dialoga com trabalho e educação, no estudo de Bernard
Charlot. A investigação aponta a principal motivação que levou os servidores do
corpo técnico a cursarem o mestrado no período do estudo e delineia o perfil desses
profissionais.
The research is a study of Social Memory on the technical-administrative civil
servants of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS and their formative
journey in stricto sensu postgraduate courses, masters level, between 2005 and
2015. It aims to know the motivation of the technical-administrative civil servants of
UFRGS to study the master's degree through the construction of their memories
about their formative processes during the stricto sensu postgraduate course. This is
a qualitative study. It is an applied research, of an exploratory nature, that at first
seeks information in the Pro-Rectory of People Management – PROGESP through
the School of Development of Servants of UFRGS – EDUFRGS, to define how many
and which servants would participate in the research. In the second moment it uses
as an instrument of data collection the in-depth interview - conducting individual
interviews - with data treatment through Content Analysis. Participants were divided
into two groups. One group represents the technicians with more than 20 years of
work in UFRGS and another group represents technicians with less than 10 years of
work in the Institution. It is a research on social memory, anchored in the authors
Maurice Halbwachs and Jô Gondar and based on them dialogues with work and
education, in the study of Bernard Charlot. The research shows the main motivation
that led the technical-administrative civil servants to attend the master's degree in the
period of the study and delineates the profile of these professionals.
