Memória social: narrativas de mulheres negras sobre ações afirmativas na UFRGS (2008-2015)

Abstract

O presente relatório de pesquisa versa sobre as narrativas de trajetórias de mulheres negras que ingressaram na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), por meio do Programa de Ações Afirmativas, entre os anos de 2008 e 2015. O principal objetivo da pesquisa foi descrever a memória social de uma amostra constituída por depoentes vinculadas aos cursos de graduação em Psicologia, Serviço Social e Administração da UFRGS. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa tem cunho qualitativo e esteve orientada pela análise textual discursiva. Nesse sentido, os depoimentos foram categorizados a partir das seguintes unidades de análise: gênero/etnicidade e ações afirmativas. Os resultados apresentados, ainda que parciais, refletem uma investigação a partir da construção de um quadro de memória social quanto aos desafios do Programa de Ações Afirmativas e quanto às expectativas e opiniões das acadêmicas sobre as categorias propostas.

This research report discuss the narrative discourse of the background of black women who have come into the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS – in its original abbreviation) throughout the Program of Positive Actions (Programa de Ações Afirmativas – as its original name) between the years of 2008 and 2014. The main objective of this research was to describe the social memory of a sample formed by the testifying people in connection with the undergraduate course of Psychology, Social Service and Management at UFRGS. When it comes to its methodology, this is a qualitative research and it is based on the Textual Discourse Analysis. For that reason, the testimonies were classified under the following units of analyses: gender/ethnicity and positive actions. Although they are partial, the results represented here reflect an investigation through a social memory board that reflects the challenges of the Program of Positive Actions as well as the expectations and opinions of the women testifying about the chosen categories.
