O presente estudo está inserido na linha de pesquisa Culturas, Linguagens e
Tecnologias na Educação. Esta dissertação tem como objetivo analisar como
são construídas as pautas juvenis no mundo imagético de jovens que tem a
fotografia como um recurso tecnológico, considerando o contexto cultural
contemporâneo em que estão inseridos. A pesquisa teve como foco de análise
os alunos e as alunas de uma escola do município de Canoas. O referencial
teórico inclui autores e autoras que analisam e discutem as questões
relacionadas à fotografia, juventudes, educação e tecnologia na
contemporaneidade. O primeiro capítulo intitulado “Percorrer e demarcar um
problema: juventudes e cultura da imagem”, descreve o percurso da pesquisa e
a construção do problema de investigação. O segundo capítulo, “Um mergulho
nas juventudes” está organizado em seções que se entrelaçam e constituem a
fundamentação necessária para as questões que norteiam este estudo:
Juventudes e novas sociabilidades, Educação e mundo contemporâneo e
Fotografia e produção de sentido. E o terceiro, “Pautas juvenis: as imagens na
roda de conversa”, apresenta as análises desenvolvidas a partir das dez
imagens que serviram de mote à problematização da condição juvenil em
questão. Como metodologia de estudo, foram realizadas quatro rodas de
conversa, com alunos e alunas de uma escola da rede municipal de ensino de
Canoas/RS, sendo o grupo composto por doze jovens subdivididos em quatro
grupos. As análises se deram por meio da aproximação aos recursos da
semiótica. Como culminância destes encontros foram selecionadas dez
imagens, escolhidas pelos estudantes, as quais compuseram o corpus de
análise desta dissertação, tendo como base o diálogo com os jovens e a
caracterização das pautas juvenis que dele emergiram. Dentro deste processo
de análise foi possível construir a dissertação e evidenciar as pautas juvenis,
seus processos de construção e suas implicações no âmbito da cultura
contemporânea. Mergulhar no mundo das juventudes, imergir e submergir,
observar, dialogar e reconhecer novos sentidos foi o grande desafio deste
trabalho, para falar “com” os jovens a respeito de seus mundos, seus
interesses e perspectivas, e não “sobre” eles. Diante destas questões foi
possível problematizar a emergência de tais pautas e engrossar a fileira dos

estudos que mapeiam os modos de existência das juventudes na
contemporaneidade, como forma ética e política de legitimação e
reconhecimento.
This study is inserted in the line of research Cultures, Languages and
Technologies in Education. This thesis aims to analyze how are built youth
agendas in imagistic world of young people who have the photography as a
technological resource, considering the cultural context Contemporary in which
they live. The research was focused on the analysis of males and females
students of a school in Canoas. The benchmark Theoretical includes authors
who analyze and discuss the issues related to photography, youth, education
and technology in contemporaneity. The first chapter entitled " Browsing and
demarcate one problem: youths and image culture ", describes the course of
the study Construction and investigation of the problem. The second chapter, "
A dip in youths " is organized into sections that intertwine and form the
necessary foundation for the questions hat guide this Study: Youths and new
sociability, Education and World Photography and contemporary production of
meaning. And the third, " Staves youth: the images in the conversation wheel ",
presents the analyzes developed from the ten images that served as the theme
questioning the juvenile condition in question. As study methodology, four
rounds of conversation were conducted with male and female students of a
municipal school in Canoas/RS, and the group comprises twelve young, divided
into four groups. The analysis is given by the semiotic approach to resources.
As a culmination these meetings have been selected ten images, chosen by
students, which formed the corpus of analysis of this thesis, based on the
dialogue with young people and characterization of youth issues that emerged
from it. Within this process of analysis was possible build dissertation and
highlight youth agendas, their processes construction and its implications in the
context of contemporary culture. Plunge into the world of young people, emerge
and submerge, observe, discuss and recognize new directions was the great
challenge of this work, to talk " with " youth about their worlds, their interests
and perspectives, and not "of" them. Given these issues it was possible to
discuss the emergence of such guidelines and thicken the line of studies that
map the modes of existence of youths in contemporary times, such as ethics
and political form of legitimation and recognition.
